Playback Theatre: Exploring Taboos Through Storytelling
Join us for an engaging 2.5-3 hour workshop where we’ll dive into the transformative art of Playback Theatre—a powerful form of interactive improvisational theatre that brings personal stories to life. Participants will be guided through body warm-ups, improvisational exercises, and an introduction to foundational Playback forms such as Fluid Sculpture and Transformational Fluid.
Together, we’ll create a safe, creative space to explore stories around sexuality, taboos, and experiences from the festival. Participants will share, witness, and play back each other’s stories, discovering new perspectives and connections through storytelling. This workshop is designed for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned performer or brand new to theatre. All you need is a willingness to reflect, connect, and explore the depth of human experiences through creative expression.
