Short version: Taboo Festival is a sacred and experimental space where we explore and celebrate all that you know deep down is beautiful but society tells you just isn’t right about your sexuality.
Taboo Festival UK 2025 is being co-created
by Vermilion and the School of Erotic Mysteries.
The themes of The Mystic Picnic are Shadow work, Kink, Darkness but especially bringing our joyous sparkly wonders into these places. We are interested in ritual, transformation, personal growth, catharsis and insights. Our diverse facilitators will offer a variety of creative and engaging experiences to give you the opportunity to meet, express and empower your sweetest taboos.
Our workshops range from beginner friendly to more advanced, and from light and playful to dark, deep and profound.
We will have an experienced team to help ensure you stay as safe as possible while dropping in as deeply as you want to.
What part of you is begging to be expressed and met in community?
Do you feel a burst of excitement as you read this? This is the space for those parts to come out, to be loved and to play together. A safe space of permission, all of you is welcome here.
Taboo Festival Details
We will start together on Wednesday, August 13th. Gates open at 2pm and close at 4pm. The festival finishes on Sunday, August 17th and you can expect to leave as early as 3pm.

Meals run from dinner on Wednesday, August 13th and up until lunch on Sunday, August 17th. Food is almost fully organic and vegan with some vegetarian options.
This is a Closed Container where everyone that attends stays from the beginning and until the end.

Taboo Festival UK is 100% sober and drug-free. We are here to explore our consciousness using the body and sexuality as vehicles. If you desire drugs and alcohol, please choose other festials and events this season.
